Last week, I found a new Google Form add-on that allows me to close out a form based upon a date and time or the maximum number of form submissions. This add-on is called Formlimiter. This has been handy when using Google forms to register participants for professional development sessions. Currently, you can only use one criteria to limit your form, but the added feature is definitely a big plus. However, I could not get the add-on to run properly in the new version of Google Forms. I was definitely finding myself searching left and right for a solution - inefficiencies drive me crazy. Luckily, I found a way to revert Google Forms back to the old version - this seemed to solve the problem. You can always go back to the old version of Google by clicking on the question mark and selecting the 'Back to the old...'. So the next time you have a cool add-on you can't seem to get to work, try going to the older version of Google and seeing if this solves your problem.
What add-ons have you tried? Are there other ones that don't seem to play well with the new version of Google? Please share your insight in the comments below!
