Driven by the pursuit of educational equity, I started my career as a math teacher, graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Biology. I taught math at various grade levels, from 8th grade math to AP Calculus. While teaching, I discovered my passion for leveraging technology to enhance student learning and promote equitable outcomes, especially for students from traditionally underserved populations. In 2015, I obtained a Master’s Degree in K-12 Instructional Technology and continued my work in education through a variety of positions focused on professional learning, technology-enhanced pedagogy, and school administration. Through my 12 years in K-12, I developed a broader passion for the power of strategic technology integration to create human-centered solutions. It is this passion that I take into my current work as a project manager. In my current position, I lead various internal-facing projects for my company with a deep focus on stakeholder engagement and strengths-based resourcing.
I love any opportunity to create unique and innovative solutions to help solve tough problems in collaboration with others and am available for contract work through my LLC. I take a human-centered approach to all of my work and ensure big dreams and conceptual ideas are turned into concrete solutions and sustainable systems.
